Commonwealth games spectators - how warm/cold inside venues?

Taking the dc to netball, swimming and gymnastics next week. If anyone has been please would you post what temperature it’s like inside the venues? Trying to work out if we need jumpers etc (crazy cold AC or toasty humid??). Thanks in advance.

Swimming pools are always warm inside!

We watched the cricket and the netball today. It was sunny hot and then humid/muggy all day. Inside the NEC arena was ok but we were pretty warm as very busy with people! Once we sat still we cooled down a bit. So if weather is looking good next week either summery clothes, shorts, t shirt etc. we regretted our full length jeans and 3/4 sleeve tops big time! But an awesome day and good weather to match.

Most will be warm. Especially the swimming.

Ds swam at the commonwealth pool a few months ago.

It's was pleasant but not really too hot (surprisingly for a pool!) I actually had my fleece on whilst spectating at one point!

However we had 2500 spectators so 50% capacity filled.

My advice for spectating at sports events is cool leggings/ trousers or long dress/skirt - the seats aren't that comfortable and stick to skin! Cotton T shirt and always take a jumper in case!
