Just some light hearted musing. Why do people online mock Waitrose shoppers? It’s no more expensive that M&S (often cheaper) and a lot of the food is better quality. Why don’t people mock M&S shoppers?

They do.

M&S shoppers are the type of people that still like pot pourri, and who wash their net curtains every month without fail.

I vastly prefer M&S, I often find Waitrose prepared stuff bland but prices are similar. I think it's because Waitrose is synonymous with being middle class, M&S is broader.

I shop at both plus Tesco and Sainsburys online. They sell different foods and it depends what I want that week.
No idea why someone would pass any judgment. I might try Morrisons next!
