I own a mobile phone although I don't use it due to an eye condition.
The only thing I do with it is take pictures and if I have wifi I load the pics onto fb. It's a PAYG with no data package.
Recently on a long weekend away I realised the person I was with had an agenda and she got very angry and kept trying my phone to 'help' me. She snatched it several times and would not accept it didn't have data. She logged me on to the wifi, which I would have done anyway to post pics, so she had internet access but whatever she was trying to do to it was only making her very frustrated.
She tried again after we left the accommodation and got very annoyed because she had 'specifically told me not to switch the internet off' (she's 70!). (I'm fairly sure she was communicating with someone who was instructing her)
Now I'm feeling a bit anxious in case I'm wrong and she has stored a keylogger on it.
Is there anything she could have installed while the phone was connected to the internet?
I have run a virus checker.
