Just realise dd’s passport is out of date

And we are flying in a week time, life has been mad and stressful and I was convinced dd’s passport was in date. It’s out of date 2 days before we fly. We are trying to have it in emergency but I’m so worried and stressed

There are 100s of thousads of people waiting for passports I heard the other day

I thnk you have to join them and hope, sorry to say but I think they should be prioritising in order of application to be fair to those who applied ages ago and have been chasing up fo weeks

I'm sorry to hear that. Honestly, I think you need to start planning for the worst. I really don't see how you're going to get a new passport in time.

The fastest child renewal is a 1 week service

I've done it before- but it was a year out of date in our case and I just looked at the day and month . It doesn't make you a shit mum just one with too much going on. Bloody 5 year passports are a PITA

Fortunately it wasn't in the current silly season and we managed to get it renewed in a day at Newport but still had to jiggle ferry bookings
