I have had problems with palpitations for a long time and i have had problems with hugh heart rate in the past SVT. - i take ivabradine and i have been ok for a year or so. I am told that my heart is healthy and its just that its a little fast sometimes.

the last couple of days i have had more palpitations and today i have been having a lot especially in the last 3 hours.

i have tried calling gp but just cant get any answer and ive emailed but no reply so i have called dh and asked him to come and drive in to the walk in centre.

Now ive done it and im waiting for him to get home i feel like ive totally over reacted and that the walk in will be total overkill.

i know palpitations are normal but today has been so much more than i normally get. Now ive made a fuss i feel really stupid though!
I dont want to be someone who uses the our of hours for no reason.

would you go for this or should i wait until monday for gp?

Go, OP, please.

Personally I feel you’re doing exactly the right thing. You know your own condition and this isn’t the norm.

Please go, I too have fast runs of HR but sometimes it becomes too much. They have always taken it seriously and at times have had to give me IV meds to get it back under control
