Evri scam?

I've had a text message to my personal phone at 8:50am saying their driver tried to deliver but no one was home (untrue 🙄).

It then asked me to click on a link where I had to fill in full name and address, contact no. and date of birth. Then wanted card details to pay £1.09 for re-delivery.

I'm not expecting anything to be delivered so it was an unusual text and it wouldn't let me proceed without filling in all of the details it was asking for.

It just made me a bit twitchy, is this standard from Evri??

No, it's a scam.

No UK delivery services charge for a redelivery attempt.

GetOffTheRoof · 29/07/2022 11:49

Actually, scrap that, just remembered Royal Mail sometimes do!

Doubt it.

Although evri is Hermes so anything is possible.

Smells of scam though.

Scam. Don't click on link. Don't give any credit card details.

JimmiChoux · 29/07/2022 11:51

Scam, I get them from various delivery companies, especially DPD and Riyal Mail.
