Peak District recommendations

Hello

I'm after recommendations for a lodge park in the Peak District with hot tubs please.

We enjoy a few lodge breaks each year and usually book through Hoseasons or Parkdean. After a couple of appalling breaks with Hoseasons I don't want to use them any more and Park Dean don't have any in this area.

I've posted in UK travel section but had no replies.

Many thanks 😊

Also any must sees or hidden gems for when we're there would be appreciated.

Pine lodge holidays in Matlock. I think they had hot tub options.

Landal Darwin Forest. Lodges are gorgeous (and have hot tub options) and the park is lovely.

Dovestone Holiday Park.

One of the Landal parks is near Ashbourne I think. Really good quality.

I had looked at the Landal one but the recent issue I had with Hoseasons was that they blocked messages regarding the appalling state of lodges on a Landal site. Wonder if we just hit unlucky with a bad park rather than company?

Rivendale? Darwin Escapes are a great company.

We are just back from Landal Darwin and it was immaculate. Also book direct when you book with Landal, not through Hoseasons they are fuckers.

@ScarlettOHaraHamiltonKennedyButler That's really good to know, thank you. Can I ask which lodge you stayed in? Also any recommendations for what is near?

@Ukholidaylover we stayed in a Haddon Classic Skyline 2 Spa lodge. Chatsworth is close by as is Matlock Bath and Bakewell which are both gorgeous. There is a farmpark close also which is supposed to be good but we didn't have time to visit. We did visit Alton Towers which is about 45 mins away.

I also really liked the look of Heights of Abraham but again didn't have time. We plan to go back soon and fit in everything that we missed.

Heights of Abraham looks amazing, definitely our kind if day out. Thank you!
