Idiot's Guide to Evri

Hi everyone, never used this. Long story short, selling a light fitting on eBay and someone has asked if I can send it to Bournemouth (I'm in N.Yorkshire, I put it as collection).

I've gone on the website and it's confusing and I don't have time to read it all, so has anybody a quick guide for simpletons please?

The item is in a box (not measured it yet but will) and weighs 3.304 kg. I am off work next week but want it courier collecting from work. In simple terms:

How do I work out payment
How do I pay
How do I print labels or address it
How do I arrange collection

Thanks in advance. I am not lazy but busy and thought some of you Mumsnetters who have done this could give me some quick advice.

Thanks!

No help but I wouldn't use Evri, they are shit.

If you put on the listing 'collection only' don't send it.

Was there a reason you put for collection? Think about it, is it easily breakable? Will it get damaged? The risk of sending an object that can be broken is too high on ebay as a seller surely.

No it's not easily breakable, it was just bulky.

Thanks for that, but what would you use instead?

If you look at your sale on ebay there's a link to Packlink, where you can enter the details to compare postage prices and pick the best/cheapest service and answer all your questions.
