Has anyone had their bunions done?

Did it work? Was it painful? I've got one that is starting to emerge on my left foot and not long how long I should leave it before trying to get it sorted...it's not painful currently...just hideous

Yes. It was painful but has been worth it. Although I don’t wear high heels any more and am very protective of my feet. One consultant tried to get me to have a rod inserted in my big toe but I rejected that and pressed for surgery that would still leave me with a flexible big toe. I can still dance, cycle and walk. I don’t run unless anything big and scary is after me. 😉
