A baby pigeon just walked into my house

A wood pigeon has had a nest in my garden for months and the fledging just randomly walked in. I don’t think it can fly yet it still has some dander. I just spent 15 minutes trying to catch it & stop the dog eating it. It’s now in an amazon box. What should I do? I know its parents i feel responsible.

Ooh any chance you have a ladder and can pop it back in the nest? In the meantime I’d put the box in view of the parents, a chance they might be able to pick it up? Dunno

Put in back near the nest on the ground in bushes preferably and the parents should come down and feed it. I had one once in my garden and parents do feed fledglings. In a few days it discovered it's wings and flew off.

I’m just worried the cat that comes in our garden will eat it. :( I will try and put it back in the nest.
