Bernard Cribbins Has Died

Sad news although he leaves an amazing legacy. The Railway Children is one of my all time favourite films - someone on Facebook said it would have been great for him to have a cameo role in the new film. Also loved his voices for The Wombles. A great talent.

Ah, I loved Bernard Cribbins in pretty much everything he did. I remember recently reading he had been seen on set for the Dr Who 60th anniversary show filming. Not sure when that will be broadcast, but I loved him as Grandad Wilf.

Awww no. This has made me sad. He was fab on Fawlty Towers and in Dr Who.

I genuinely thought he already passed away a while ago!

Awww a true acting legend and by all accounts a wonderful man.

I started rewatching some old Dr Who last night with my 8yo, I think we will put some of Willf on tonight.

Aww, no! I was listening to his album the other day - he's an absolute legend, I love his work. A great entertainer, one of my favourites. What a loss.

He'll always be the voice of Mortimer the raven. I loved him reading the Arabel and the Raven stories in Jackanory when I was small.

93. He had a good innings. I see that his wife of 66 years died last year. That will have been a hard knock. RIP.
