Is this a scam?

Found this on Facebook Marketplace for elderly relative. It seems too good to be true - these are worth £1,600 new.

He has sent me this link to buy it via PayPal.

I am tired and can't make a judgment. Is this a scam? Surely nobody would scam elderly, disabled people needing a wheelchair? Would they?

Sadly, elderly disabled people are an easy target for scammers, and scammers are generally heartless people. It may be genuine, it may not. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Don't touch it with a barge pole. For starters, the warehouse image has been used at a number of other now non existent or poorly reviewed retail sites, there is no company address, and the returns policy refers to another website altogether.

Complete and utter scam. They are total scum targeting the elderly like that.

I'd say a scam. I've found the fb marketplace listing, and there's several other listing from all over the country using the same photos. There's also an ebay listing for over £1k using those photos.

Absolutely a scam! If you search "vipsoiurrmall.shop reviews" it brings up nothing apart from reviews from other shops of the same type.

Sadly looks like a scam. From my personal experience though, they don’t hold their value and the mark up new is huge, so there are lots of lovely genuine people selling these at massively reduced prices from new, who don’t need them any more I sourced a few for my dad over the years. So don’t give up, just exercise caution and go and see it in person . Hope you find what you are looking for.

I've just reported it here www.ncsc.gov.uk/section/about-this-website/report-scam-website and the more reports the better imo!

Okay thanks all! You have saved me £82.

I have reported it too.
