Dc ages 5 and 7 want to do crafting today. I'm usually pretty good at this stuff but struggling to come up with anything.

We have card, paper, glue,paint, tissue paper, feathers, buttons, pompoms etc, a garden and can collect twigs, leaves

Any suggestions?

Pinterest is great for ideas

Just put it all out on the table along with the contents of your cardboard recycling bin and let their imaginations go!

It doesn't have to be an organised activity with a predetermined end product.

Make birthday cards for any upcoming family members

Glue pompoms together to make animals with sticks for limbs. Then make them little houses

Jam jar lanterns or sun catchers with the tissue paper
