Afternoon tea etiquette

Please can someone help me out. I have been invited to attend an afternoon tea around 3-4pm at their house. I have only met the person couple of times and they are friend’s friend. Do I take something like biscuits or cake with me? don’t want to over do it. I don’t know what is the norm. Thanks

I'd probably take flowers. She has probably planned the tea itself

Yes bunch of flowers or nothing. I’d go for just a little token like tulips if you don’t know her very well.

Will it be a boozy one? Most afternoon teas I go to are. If it is maybe take a bottle of fizz.
