…and you thought what is this place and why am I here?
Saw there was a limited, seasonal event near me, think pumpkin patch but a summer version (flowers rather than pumpkins), which was described as “amazing” by a couple of parent influencers bloggers I follow on Facebook. Heard also from real life people I know it was good, so took DC to visit.
well…when I got there, it wasn’t quite on Fyre island level but “amazing” it was not! The stuff was just a bit meh, not as much to do as they made out and it was completely underwhelming. Felt like me and DC had also turned up to a mass instagram photo shoot and were seriously under dressed. I keep now seeing loads of stuff online about said place and I’m just not getting the hype! I have a feeling a lot of these instagram/Facebook people are either getting gifted free entry or being paid so I can’t help feeling a bit duped.
which lead me to wonder, has anyone else ever been influenced to go somewhere only to have this happen?
