Has anyone ever reported their neighbour to their housing association?

I am at the end of my tether with a household on my road constantly chucking rubbish and bits of furniture at the end of the street for other people to deal with and letting their kids run riot in the street in the early hours of the morning.

I know the house is owned by a housing association and I want to report them but I am just a bit nervous about them finding out it was me

Has anyone ever does this before and did it improve things?

I have to be honest, if they’re letting their kids run riot in the early hours of the morning and fly tipping in their own street, they probably aren’t going to become the quiet and responsible neighbours you want, whether you complain about them or not.

If you’re worried about the possibility of them discovering it was you then report them anonymously. There’ll be no come back on you then if they do find out.

You can ask that you remain anonymous and they will respect that.

It doesn’t work if it’s just one household reporting. Took 4 years and a coordinated effort to get a tenant moved from my street and there was actual criminality.

Also, they won’t say who it was but they’re very specific about the complaint in my experience so be careful to avoid identifiable info.

Yes, they were evicted for drug taking. Council not HA but hats off to the council they acted quickly
