When you sell on Vinted does the buyer get your address?

When you sell something on Vinted, that you are sending by post. Is the buyer given your address Incase of returns ?

No.

If you select royal mail then yes they get your address. For yodel/evri they don't. If there's an issue and you need to return an item this is delt with separately.

I use Evri and Yodel and I only get the buyers address if it's being delivered to their home. If it's sent for pick up then I don't see their address

The buyers address is visible on the evri label even if it's being delivered to, say, a newsagent. I know this because when I've bought stuff from Vinted and had it delivered to the newsagent, I am asked for my address when collecting and it is on the parcel.

The buyer does not see the sellers address.

Yes. I see you address, I think you can select it’s sent to a drop off point though.

Yes. Regardless of which shipping option you choose, once the shipping label has been created the seller can see the buyers address. I am a seller on Vinted.

No, i don't think the buyer ever gets the address of the sender!

I’ve probably sold 40 items on Vinted and can see the address of every single buyer. Think I’ve made the point now so will stop posting.

I sent something by Yodel a few days ago and used a drop off point. My name and postcode was on the receipt along with the buyers address.

@TheAllotment but the op is asking if the buyer sees the senders address, not the other way round.

This could be dangerous as I recently bought something which was fraudulent - when returning the purchase, I saw the buyer's name and address - they are a known gang member whose brother has been convicted of murder. I can only say exercise extreme caution with Vinted.
