Tennis. Started after uni but then had to give up for a while when I had DC. Picked it up again last year. Love it.

Pilates. Started after aforementioned DC wrecked my back during pregnancy. I do online classes whenever I like - perfect.

Cycling. Kids are into it, esp DS, so I started again to take him on longer cycles. I now occasionally cycle into work.

I want to restart the piano as well. Learned as a kid but haven’t played in years. DD would like to learn and I’d like to start playing again too. September’s project.

Taught myself crochet in lock down. (I have always knitted but never crocheted) and I love it. Make so much 3d stuff so therapeutic.

At age of 24 I went on a sailing holiday. Then started some crewing helping with yacht owners. Later did RYA courses to learn dinghy sailing. Joined club and regularly crewed for someone who became a friend.
Later I qualified as an Instructor.
As crew it is not expensive just contributions when going away to races or cruise across Channel.

Took up shooting. Age 60, I had to give up cycling because of injuries. Tried Clays but coordination not good enough to do well. Obviously will never be good enough for game birds either.
But target shooting at 200 or 400 yds I am getting good at. Very enjoyable and satisfying. Shooting at a club event at Bisley soon.
Walking from shooting point to fix target many times a day is real exercise for me now.

Paddleboarding. I wanted to try it for a couple of years before finally booking a lesson, and I loved it.

However, I'm too ill to do much at the moment so going to follow this thread for a more sedentary hobby until I can get back to it!

I would love to learn to ice skate properly too. I can go round the rink fine but have never had a lesson
