Is it any good?
My contracts up for renewal.
Am tempted as we could do with new tv.

I'm watching this with interest. I liked the look of it until I found out you can't record like you do with a Sky Q box, it's only streaming

Is everything not available on demand these days so no recording required?

brookstar · 26/07/2022 11:54

We have it but we live in a house where it was impossible for us to get sky so it's definitely a step up from NowTV!
There's no need to record anything as everything is there on demand.
The TV is great and we have multiroom which works a treat.

We've had it since November and have no complaints.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 26/07/2022 11:54

I didn't think on demand was available until after the programme has finished. Sometimes I want to start watching something while it's still on live TV, F1 for example. I don't want to have to wait.

I dont, but before you pay out look into iptv - my brother recently got that onto a fire stick (did it all himself and paid £65 for the iptv streaming devices for 2 tv's in the house) and the format when it comes up is also sky glass.

We have it, love it!
you can watch a programme that is in live tv even if it’s almost finished - just select it and then a box pops up asking if you want to watch from start - absolutely no need to record anything.
we have multi room but this doesn’t work as yet as our internet is appalling - fibre coming next week ( first time it’s been available where we live)
so it’s not strong enough to support multiroom but we have the little box thing and all set to go once internet improved.
Also our downloading speed is way less than they say you need as we were not even sure the main tv would work but it does on really low download speeds.

Interesting
Do you have to buy the TV Outright or is it added to your bill per month ?

TIA

MsMiaWallace · 26/07/2022 12:22

You can add to bill or pay outright I think.

Either.
You can buy outright if you pay an amount for the tv over a certain number of months - a bit like the device plan on your mobile phone contract.
