Covid - No smell, if I do smell something it smells of petrol?!

Not the nice petrol smell at the fill up station. Like an acidic petrol fumes smell. It's horrible!

Nothing smells really, for example I usually walk into the house and can smell my washing, can't smell a thing. Can't smell DS's nappies, can't smell anything like that

If I smell anything it's this weird petrol burnt smell! It's horrible. I can't taste either really! So I can taste notes of stuff, like if it's sweet, sour or spicy, but that's it

Everything smells awful. Smelt DS's dinner earlier and it smelt of BURNING PETROL!

What is going on? Sad tested positive for Covid a week ago whilst I was in hospital

I lost all taste and smell and it took a long time to come back. It came back super slow and things still don't taste right. For months strawberries tasted and smelled like mould.

Certain foods that's been slightly over cooked/ burned, is tasting horrendous.

The newest one is fresh coriander tasting like celery.

Had Covid in October 2021.

Will have to see how it goes and just get used to it, if both taste and smell doesn't return to normal.
