I posted on here last week about getting my first period 6 weeks postpartum and regretfully I am back again after just about surviving it.
It was the heaviest period I’ve had in my life, I soaked through a pad in 45 minutes, for three days. In the brief time I undressed and went to step into the shower, it was pouring down my legs. I felt quite faint and called 111 ( as gp closed) and they said to go to A&E. However it was an eight hour wait so I said toDH I’d rather bleed to death at home and left. thankfully the following morning it eased up but what the fuck. Is this what periods are going to be like? That can’t be normal surely? They were heavy enough before but this was a bloodbath- literally!
