Does anyone use either? Which is better?
Thank you!

I have both. They're both decent apps, but the extent of the book collections available via the library services I'm signed up to is not that extensive. Quite often, an e-book will be available on one of Libby and BorrowBox, but not the other.

Is it your library that's offering you the choice, or were you looking to pay for it?

My library uses Borrow Box. It's a great app, easy to use etc. but I get annoyed that I can't use it with my Kindle. I haven't used Libby but think you can use Libby with Kindle?

I get Libby as part of my local library. I only use it for audiobooks. It’s ok, sometimes it’s a long wait for what I want.

My local council library gives free access to both. I use them mainly for audiobooks. They tend to have different content so both are good.

Libby uses tags which makes it much easier to see which books you have already read and you can tag those you enjoyed (or didn't). It also gives me access to loads of magazines.

With BorrowBox I don't know which I have already listened to unless a scroll through a long list or download it and find it has 0 minutes left to listen.

Hope this helps.

My library too offers both Libby and Borrowbox. I don't have a preference between the two but find the choice is more limited because I only use the apps for audio books and the percentage of e-audio books is quite small compared to the ebook offerings. But I wouldn't be without either of them as nothing relieves the tedium of boring chores like listening to a good story!
