Fainted 4 times in 2 weeks. Next available GP appointment 31 Aug

I've never fainted before in my life (52 years) but seem to have suddenly started in the last fortnight.

I've explained symptoms to GP receptionist (like you must to get offered any appointment these days) and the best they can possibly do for me is 31 Aug.

Is that OK? I mean, can it wait that long or should I do "something" else?

Then stop with the scaremongering. Fainting when you first move to standing doesn't affect driving.

What a rude reply! @Pluvia was just trying to help you. I think you're in denial about how serious this could be. Sorry OP, but you asked for help, and as many of us are saying - you need to push to get seen.

Not a chance you should wait until the end of next month to see the GP. The system is terrible. I'm in Scotland and my GP only does on the day appointments, getting through at 8am is chaos and by 8:15 all the appointments are gone.

Another one suggesting A&E, what if next time you faint you end up with a head injury.

Could be postural hypotension, could be dehydration, could be more serious cardiac issues but definitely get checked out before August.
