Does anyone feel so much better on the pill?

I do have PCOS so it maybe a factor. Pre period I used to shake, have diarrhoea,shooting pains in legs and feel so low. Now I'm on the pill my tits hurt alot but all these symptoms have gone. Even my.hormone induced skin tag on my arse is gone !

When I take the pill I think very very depressing thoughts and cry all the time. I tried 4 types.

So it didn't work for me! Sounds like it does you a lot of good though.

It totally does! I just think my periods need to be stopped ✋️

Physically I feel no different but the fact I am on a 365 day pill means I no longer get my period plus I know I am safe from getting pregnant so mentally it makes me feel better 😁

My old friend used to say that she felt well when she was on the pill. She meant physically.

It's killed my sex drive but it's worth it

I've been on the combined pill for years (didn't want the weight gain with the mini-pill that was rumoured to happen). I'm an infinitely nicer person when on it. I'm less spotty, I don't have to carry my sore boobs around in slings, it's a contraceptive that's always worked for me, I usually take two packets in a row so halve my number of inconvenient periods and now I'm informed the pill I take is used for HRT too (I'm 44 so possibly approaching menopause). I love it!

I felt better on the pill, it helps my PMDD but the lack of sex was a no no for me and my marriage! I'm currently trialling the progesterone only pill and HRT!

I started taking the mini pill to get rid of migraines- it’s bloody awesome! No migraines & no periods!! Win! No side effects in the 3 years I’ve taken it.

The only pill I’ve ever felt better on is the progesterone only pill, it’s cured my PMDD and almost all of my endometriosis symptoms. I’ve realised I’m very sensitive to estrogen as pills containing them sent me crazy.

I'm on the combined pill (yasmin). I'm absolutely horrendous to live with without the pill. I get awful PMS.

Combined pill, I’m convinced that the oestrogen makes me a nicer person.
