Magazines

I'm going into hospital for an outpatient procedure tomorrow, nothing too serious but will probably mean lots of waiting around. Thought I'd get a magazine or two for when I get bored of scrolling MN but have no idea which one! I don't have any hobbies or interests that have a magazine.

What magazines do you like? Is Cosmopolitan even still around?! Help!

For general women’s magazines I’d say Red, Prima or Woman & Home. Good Homes or Ideal Home if you’re into interiors. Cosmopolitan is still around but aimed at early 20 somethings.

@careermumofone thanks! I've never heard of these but will check them out. Think I'll skip Cosmo...

If you have a device you can comfortably read on get a free trial/subscription to readly. There’s thousands of magazines on there.

Private Eye is brilliant if you want humour rather than lifestyle.

I don't think Kindle supports Readly but just looked and they have a similar service so think I'll give that a go. Any particular titles you'd recommend?

@Antarcticant I'd totally forgotten about Private Eye! Thanks for the suggestion :)
