Anyone know anything about Bernina sewing machines?

The position of my needle on the screen and the position of the needle in reality are miles apart. I've no idea what's happened? Turning it off & then on again doesn't realign the screen and the needle. I'm left with a needle I can't shift to the left because the screen says it can't go any further left. Any ideas?

I don't know about Berninas but the first thing I would check would be whether the bobbin winder in engaged.
