None of my business or important in any way, but, does anyone know the answer to this idle wondering I just had?

Do the Middleton family call/ refer to their royal grandchildren as 'Prince' and or 'Princess' [Insert name] Do they curtsey to W,K and or the children? Do we think they ever feel weird telling them off?

I saw something pop up about them welcoming another grandchild and it made me wonder. Even if they don't, it must all be very surreal, having police there when you are with your daughter and her family, when you have had a normal, albeit wealthy life

I've read that the Royal children are called by their first names, even by staff, as their parents don't want to make their upbringing more avoidably awkward than it already is.

They'd be expected to curtsey to W&K on formal occasions but I very much doubt they do this informally or in private.

Thank you. I was just thinking it must be a really strange life, because they will all end up in history books and the Middletons are 'just' solidly middle class entrepreneurs, not aristos. or Bill Gates style business. Then I thought how weird it was that I was wondering about them. Then I was bfing my son 3ms, daughter, 5yo and we do not have the ££ to mix in elevated circles and started to think, 'what would I do if either he or his sister brought one of the Cambridge children home in the future? Should I offer the body guard a brew, would they need to taste anything I cooked? I'm an academic, would I need to send my articles, books, lectures for review? What if a student secretly filmed a class and sold it to the Mail? 😱Would the Middleton's invite me and my husband over to give us advice? We couldn't have them here, the house is always a tip!

I bet they have no pubic hair anywhere! We have pubic hair on the ceiling! [Dylan Moran Joke]

I imagine such a visit would have to be carefully planned - not a spontaneous drop in. And I imagine if it became a serious relationship, with the prospect of marriage, background checks would be done, but discreetly - they'd have someone looking over all your articles and so on - the equivalent of an extremely enhanced DBS check. Not so much because they'd stop the relationship but so they could be prepared if the media dug up anything vaguely controversial in your past publications.

I just find it weird that my brain went down this rabbit hole! If it were to happen the media would have a field day, we are so far away from either an aristo or MC lifestyle that they would be thinking one of them had married into the Royle Family! 😂

The Middletons are not immune from this - they have a dodgy Uncle Gary!
