DH and his milk bottle skin

We are off on holiday later in the year and DH is whiter than white.
Can anyone recommend a good home fake tan for him? Preferably not one where he would have to shave.
He is very self conscious about appearing too pale but having had cancer, doesn't want to sit out in the sun.
Thanks.

I am a week into a sun holiday and the expensive fake tan I had applied is now coming off in patches. Lots of moisturiser, sun lotion and after sun have made it very uneven after a week but also difficult to assess if I'm burning. I have very very fair skin. It is far too hot to even consider putting a new coat of the stuff on and sweating it all into my sheets/clothes.

Embrace it would be my recommendation. Wish I hadn't gone near the stuff.

My sister has been using the Dove gradual tan and she is a nice colour

I was using the Garnier Summer Body on my very pale skin and it was looking lovely. Unfortunately I have developed an allergy to the tanning chemical so can't use any more but would definitely recommend for a natural colour on very fair skin. As long as it's built up over a few days in light layers then it does not go orange.

I would also recommend the Dove gradual tan, it's easy to use and looks really natural.

I’m also so white I’m practically translucent and I use Boots No7 mousse, it’s really easy to put on and natural looking.

to be honest though I wish there was some sort of support group for people with super white skin to be happy with it and to make people think twice about ridiculing us so we feel we have to cover ourselves in fake tan! It’s such a massive faff.

I love my white skin but my mum made me have a fake tan for my prom because she is one of those “tans always look better” people.

I had mine done at a salon as a spray tan. If you can do that, go for it. It looks very natural and less work for your dh to do

To be honest I think you need to shave for all of them? Maybe a good spray tan would be an alternative.

Personally I’m learning to appreciate my super white freckly skin. In some countries they even use umbrellas to ensure they DON’T get a tan!

I've just come back from a week and many many men were wearing swim UV t shirts in the pool and walking around. I was surprised how many and said to my husband (he is pale like yours) as it's not something I had seen before on many holidays.
Other than that nobody will care at all or look and a day or two into your holiday The worry will probably go.
Although if he has a patchy fake tan then maybe there will be a few glances...
