I'm just having a break from some sewing & unpicking where I've managed to get the garment caught up in the stitching where I'm adding binding to the neckline 🙄

Dd2's making herself a pizza for lunch, and dd1 is still lounging in her pit. I don't think we'll be doing much with the afternoon.

I'll get my crochet out when I've finished sewing & probably spend a few hours on that. Feels weird not painting story props for work but the break's welcome & I'll properly start on my own painting project over the summer hols when they eventually get here (3 more work get ups to go!).

We're having bangers & mash for tea, followed by some of the fruits we bought yesterday, and ice cream 😋 I'll probably have a glass or two of wine this evening, and either carry on my crochet or write my to do list all onto one page instead of spread out like it is at the moment.

Might watch miss congeniality in the hot tub with DD. It's inside a wooden room so might go in when it starts raining so we can watch the rain ☔️

Nothing very exciting I'm afraid. I went to church this morning and had planned a nice long walk home along the shore but it started raining so I had to curtail it. I'm on my own today as OH is working so I'm going to spend the afternoon catching up on some Scandi drama I recorded (OH won't watch anything with subtitles!) then might go a walk with son and dog if the weather improves.

Then I'll be having a lazy dinner - sticking a large steak pie from our excellent local butcher in the oven. Hmm might need a big walk tomorrow to work off all the carbs in the pastry 😄

At home too unwell to go out and do much as I’m still recovering from Covid followed by Bronchitis followed by an awful reaction to medication I had to take for the Bronchitis.

Honestly I can’t really be bothered doing anything or I cough like buggery and get the shakes.

just had a quick stomp up the cliffs on the coast path in the howling wind. it was only 2000 steps but makes a huge difference to my mental well-being.

now home and Sainsburys just delivered my £60 weekly shop. I’ve been trying to get my shop below £70 so I was pleased and when it arrived I bought more than I realised!!

going to settle down and play Monopoly with a nice hot cuppa. Maybe stick a film on but Netflix hasn’t got much and all the good stuff on Amazon Prime says “rent or buy” grrrr - tempted to cancel both!

Have lots of courgettes and tomatoes to use up today, so I’m thinking something med veg and pasta based for tea.

It’s more like Autumn than Summer here

Took my mum to CostCo it was like the hunger games .. never again on a Sunday. Now sat in the garden with Elaine Paige ( Radio 2 not literally) .

I’m working 9 to 5, on my lunch break at the moment. Nothing exciting 😂

Sitting on the sofa, waiting for DP to bring me a cup of tea and some shortbread. DD’s watching stuff on her iPad.
I’ve got some bread proving, and when that’s baked, we’ll probably go to our local SEND play centre, which has an amazing playground.
Snacky supper later and then more Stranger Things.

I'm at Solihull summerfest with my friend. About to start on 2nd pint of cider. Dr and the Medics on at the moment.

Sitting in the garden of our holiday let with a diet coke over ice and my book whilst DC3 naps.

DC3 has an earache so she wasn't fancying the beach. DP has taken the older two as it's utterly glorious here (south coast). They'll do the whole sea / sandcastles / ice cream / fish & chips on the promenade as DP goes home tomorrow he has to work but we are staying on for another week. They'll bring us home a pack up fish and chips for dinner later.

On holidays this week so just tidying here before go. Enjoying Ozark last few episodes and then Virgin River. Chilling.

After spending the morning searching for our passports, found them luckily! I'm now sitting back watching the All Ireland Football Final, have vested interest in both sides

Just got home from a weekend break with DH and kids. Just doing some washing and catching up on work emails. Will water garden soon and get mentally prepared for a busy week at work!

We took DDs out on their scooters this morning for some fresh air then treated them to an ice cream afterwards.

Came home and DH washed the cars whilst I did some gardening and DDs played in the garden.

We've had a quiet few hours this afternoon....DDs have been drawing/playing with PlayDoh and are now watching cartoons on TV. DH and I have been researching holiday options for next summer.

I have to pop in to feed my neighbour's guinea pigs and rabbits later as he's away for the weekend then just fancy an easy dinner. We've got some supermarket pizzas in the freezer so might have those and watch a film.

Harvested my rhubarb patch and made a batch of rhubarb, ginger, clove and orange fools.
Celebrated winning a Scottish bridge tournament yesterday, made up some hands this afternoon for my local bridge group tomorrow, and am going out to the Drifters concert tonight.
And did a teeny bit of gardening before the rain descended!

walked to supermarket in the rain, carried shopping home.

having pizza later. going for a walk on the treadmill trying to aim for a hour on that.

listen to the 14 year old dog crying not sure whats up with her. and clean the house.

It’s very hot here today. Took DS to cricket this morning and got an ice cream on the way home. The kids chilled in front of the tv/Xbox for a bit while I did some housework. Then we got the water balloons & paddling pool out. Played a couple of board games and have just finished eating dinner.
