Traffic queues in Dover

Having seen the news about 6 to 8 hour queues at the ferry terminal in Dover I can't help wondering how people are managing. Are there toilets available? Food and drink? Etc?

Does anyone know?

Friends came through yesterday morning. Don't know whether they were lucky but they only had an extra hour of queuing

People are being told to take snacks and drinks and to expect delays.

Extra hour on top of what? I wonder if queue ebbs and flows what Happens of people get there early,too early??

I live nearby. Was keeping an eye on traffic all day yesterday. The bit of the A20 near me was dark red all day and night so plenty of people must have had to sleep in their cars. Verges will have plenty of shit in them already.
