WD40!
I cleaned my living room carpet last night but had 2 little oil spots about the size of a 5p ( cheers DH, take your bloody boots off!) that I couldn't shift. Tried all the usual and then googled it and up came WD40. It is recommended on their website for carpets (any stain). 30 seconds and the oil has gone.
Anyone have any gems they'd like to share?
