York Maze

Thinking of visiting York Maze for a day through the summer.

Really impressed with what I can see on the website, just wondering if anyone knows whether you need to pay for things once you're in there? Or if the slides/play areas etc are all included in admission?

We went last summer and it’s a brilliant day out. Everything is included in the price except for some small quad bikes and some remote control boats which are both coin operated and cost £1 each

@Snuzzle I've only heard good things about it! But it's going to be almost £70 admission and I didn't fancy getting robbed for extra activities when we were in there, I'm glad to hear most things are included thanks.

It's an excellent day out and definitely worth the money, like PP said it's just things like remote control cars , and I think go karts have a small fee but generally everything else in included.

It's really a brilliant place and you'll easily spend all day there, so much to do. The Crowmania ride is fab, the staff are all great as well.

Foods a bit pricey from memory so I'd take snacks / picnic if you can.

@CTPT oh thanks, another reassuring post! I'm glad to hear it's so good, really looking forward to it now wasn't planning on telling the kids we were going, just pack us into the car, so it's nice to know they'll enjoy it when we get there. Was planning on taking a picnic too so will definitely be sure to do that.

@FindingANewLifePlan I don't know if they still have it but they had a small bit of water type play in a big sandpit a few years ago, I'd maybe pack a towel or two in the car incase.

@FindingANewLifePlan they also have a new daily foam party, so maybe take changes of clothes too!
