Twitter and Reddit

Has anyone ever used to Reddit or Twitter to meet people in real life?

They are probably not the best places to meet someone but just wondered.

It would never occur to me to use those sites to meet people and I never have. It feels geared towards information sharing.

I've met people from Facebook but only specialist groups for mountain biking or sports interest group. "Meet at 10am, here, for a group run..." type of thing. Same with specialist sports forums.

SilentHedges I guess that is the only good thing about Facebook is the groups. I can't see what i would use Twitter or Instagram for. I am not a business nor influencer plus have nothing interesting to post lol
