Merlin pass- I’m confused?

What the most cost effective way to buy a merlin pass? I got an email that says you can pay monthly from £14.99 but you have to pay a sign up fee of £49.99 and that based on the gold membership.’

How does that compare if you buy it in on lump sum?

You really need to wait for the sale they usually have a few over the year and then you usually don’t have to pay the sign up fee - I got ours in the last sale and only paid £14.99 per month - if you do it this way I don’t think paying annually is any cheaper.

I bought mine in the sale so only pay the monthly cost. It feels cheaper as you are spreading the cost. But you could wait to see if they have another sale

@loz12345 @Boredof2020 thank you! What time of year did you buy them in the sale?

I got mine in the January sales. I went for platinum as fireworks are free with that one. I'm sure there was a sale last year late summer
