I know that no one can know for sure, but I just wondered if the current state of affairs is a short/medium term problem, or the new normal? Things are tight for us, but we are managing. It's not much fun, but not completely awful (yet!). We can cope, but I really don't want to be doing this indefinitely... is there an end to it at some point in the future, do you think?

The economics of international business and millionaires is VERY different from the economics of personal and household finances.

Ironic that for someone who claims rishi sunak doesn't understand economics you apparently have a poor grasp of what finance / investment firms and hedge funds do.

Honestly I doubt that working in a credit union and or having an excellent grasp of personal finance prepared someone for macro economic policy...
