Two of my dds are now wearing my bloody small but nice diamond earrings while I'm wearing horrendous swarovski dh bought me.

Dd1 is allergic to anything but white gold and titanium so far that we've tried.

Dd2 loses them (usually butterflies tbf) like they're going out of fashion, she had the first piercing studs on today STILL lost the butterfly. Then the earring out her pocket!

Where can I get them both decent earrings?

Try a tattoo/piercing parlour, as they are likely to have a good range of titanium ones, including those which screw together (do less likely to lose)

Not sure if they'll have butterflies, but should have a range of colours of stud plus some sparklies

When her ears have been settled and non-reacting, try high quality sterling silver. If she's OK with them, then you'll find a much wider range of designs (hicg street jewellers, there's a range at Claires, and Argos worth a look)

The other metal to try is surgical steel

Stick with titanium. Steel isn’t great for piercings. Try not to touch or move them around.

What about those little rubber backs? You can get loads on eBay for cheap and just put those on after the butterfly to keep them on.

If she’s losing the backs that much though that suggests she’s fiddling with them, in which case they will definitely irritated no matter what material
