Can Etsy sellers change their settings so you can't leave a photo with your review?

I bought some ribbon and the quality is way poorer than the seller's pictures. That said I shall keep it. I wanted to leave a 4 review but it wouldn't let me upload a photo. Then I went back & tried to post a 5 review but attach the photo & I still couldn't. My photo is well within Etsy's size requirements. Any ideas? This has happened to me before.

I'm not sure if they can prevent a picture being posted - I'm a seller and have never noticed that option. They can hide pictures in reviews though after it's been posted, so a bit pointless really.

I find too that a lot of sellers are selling stuff from Wish/Ali-Express at triple the price. Before you buy from Etsy I'd check those sites to make sure you aren't paying an over-inflated price for something you can buy yourself direct from those sites.

I couldn’t add a pic to a review I left. I was really happy with the item I bought and left a review saying so. I thought I’d uploaded a pic but it didn’t show. No idea if it’s the site or me
