GCSE results - stupid question

I sat GCSE Maths back in June as a mature private student at a local school. How will I get the result? I don't want to have to go there and peer at a noticeboard with all the other students. Will they email or post it to me?

Ask the exam officer that you booked in via. My ds took GCSEs privately and she emailed us the result. I don't think any results are delivered via notice boards these days as it's all private. Cor! That's brought back some memories!!!!

Even if you have to go into the exam centre where you sat the exam to collect your result, it won't be a noticeboard - you'll be handed the results summary in a sealed envelope.

Good luck!

OK thanks I'll contact the exam officer. As you can tell it's a long time since I sat an exam!

Haha results have been given in envelopes for at least 15 years, which is when I got mine. Nobody else will see. Good luck!
