I'm going to apply for disabled railcard.
Can anyone tell me how long it took for them to send them one?
I'm worried I've left it too late now!

i got mine instantly delivered to my phone via the app - is that an option for you?

purpleme12 · 21/07/2022 08:37

Oh right I didn't realise you could do that.

Is it easy to do it that way?

Super easy. As the person above says you can have it sent to your phone.

Are you a wheelchair user @purpleme12? If you are there is another discount available called D50 that gets you 50% of an anytime ticket and you don’t need a railcard. The anytime tickets are more expensive than the ones you can use a railcard with though

As an aside anyone with hearing aids qualifies too for the disabled railcard

I'm not sure mine was instant as I had to send my PIP form off, but it was quite quick with the digital app card.
