I used to think it was a case of PEBKAC but I agree with you in many instances. Soooo many companies appear to send out emails without checking them first then send a follow-up email to 'correct' it. Tonies are huge culprits of this!

They probably know that people are more likely to open an ‘oops’ email. I did the first few times out of curiosity but don’t now as it’s obviously just a marketing exercise.

Yes people are more likely to open oops emails. I have myself but then just seen it was fake promo after a while.
