What's the going rate for a dog sitter??

We're hoping to go away for a week and I'm paying my friends (older, sensible) daughter to housesit and look after the dogs for me. She's a student but just about to go and do a Masters programme so has some time before going back to uni. She'll have the house to herself, time to lounge around and watch Netflix, won't have to be here 100% of the time but can come and go but will stay overnight. Dogs might need a walk but otherwise just like cuddles. What do you think would be reasonable to pay her please??

I'm doing similar and am paying £20 a night. I could send my dog to a boarder for £30 a night so I think that's fair

Our dog boarder (in her own home) is £25 a night. She's insured, but not council registered.

My insured house sitter charges £60 a day. Prices have gone bonkers as everybody is travelling.

Our dog goes to a boarder and we pay £25 per night for her to stay there.

I pay mine £50/day or part of. She is early twenties. I think anything less would be unreasonable. I consider that a v fair price for peace of mind when I go away.
