Are there any card makers or paper crafters on MN?

I love to craft. I’m not very good at it but it’s something I enjoy. My sister is having a baby and I want to make her a new baby frame. I’ve seen lots of lovely ones online for inspiration but I can’t work out how to cut out writing.

The style I’d like is ‘joined up’ and looks like it’s come out in one cut. The words are cut in to the paper itself, sort of in a paper frame. For example: “Baby XYZ Surname” on the first line. Second line “Born XXXX 2022” . All words are joined up but they are separate sentences.

I’ve no idea what I need to do it and how I get started. Can anyone help?

it's possibly been laser cut? Have you got a link to an example?

Probably done using a cricut? Ask on the Arts and Crafts section.

I would say cut on a cricut, or laser cut. You can print what you want then cut round it using a blade but will be very time consuming and probably will need a few goes to get it right.

You can do paper cutting by hand and make your own templates. Try looking at these links for ideas...
