Car seat for grandparents

Posted in car seats but thought I'd get more traffic here. Looking for a car seat for my parents to use for when I'm back to work next month. DS will be 11 months (but is small for his age if it matters). It will only be used once or twice a week or so don't want to spend anymore than £100 ideally. Can anyone recommend something suitable in that price range?

I'd go for the Joie stages. It will rear face to 18kg and then forward face to 25kg. It's about £120 and you fit it with the car seat.

...belt.

Is the word I left off there !

Joie Stages cost around £120 but I cannot recommend it enough. This car seat can be used as an extended rear-faced or forward facing. My kids were comfortably tested rear-facing until de age of 4. It is light enough to move easily between cars or taking it out for washing and it has passed the Swedish test.

Yes! It is the best for the price I think.

Great thanks I'll look into that one properly!

Yes the Joie stages is a great seat! We have it and it's easy to install and comfy for the child.

Make sure your parents can do up the straps to keep the baby in. I have arthritis in my hands and I hate the car seat my grandchild has because it's so difficult to clasp it shut and undo it.
