Is there any good news?

Inflation/cost of living, utility bills, covid, climate change, bloody Tories...I genuinely can't see anything positive anywhere. Is anything, anywhere going well?

Boom or bust is the way of the world, sadly.

but below the surface many good people do many good things all year round, and I try not to lose sight of that.

You are right, thank you. I always try to make a point of staying up to date with the news etc but it just seems like nothing is good!

There are websites that only cover good news, like Good News Network. I read those occasionally for balance when the main news websites get too bleak. There are always amazing new discoveries and improvements happening, and ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Here's my 3 positives:
We won't have Boris Johnson as PM for much longer!
Women's England football team are doing well in the euro's.
The heatwave is over (for now at least)

@Stranger1things I can get on board with the last 2 but I can't see anyone I'd choose to be PM coming along next
