Dramatically cooled down now and seriously windy, I can hear proper wooo wooo noises and just had to shut the windows as the blinds were flapping so loudly.

It was 39 degrees earlier!

I'm wide awake too in London. No breeze. My curtain is not moving. My fan is blowing hot air. I'm incredibly hot and frustrated 🥵😫

Yes. It’s baking hot and the blinds are flapping in the open windows, and the sashes are rattling. I can’t sleep a) because I’m too hot snd b) because I just looked at the weather forecast and the rain that was forecast for the weekend has been replaced with 26 degrees and sunny. So I’m fretting about the garden. And wildlife.

I'm hoping 26 tomorrow will feel cool after 39 today!

I'm in London too and we had a lovely breeze overnight. I have kept all the windows open and little and have woken to it feeling pleasant and cool.
