You need to factor the room size and BTU of the unit. The one linked is 9000. In the description it says is ideal for a 20 sq metre room. So for a bedroom or small living room, fine. In a larger space it would struggle. Also the portable units can only do so much. In theory mine goes down to 17 degrees but it can only do that in cold weather! Mines been running for a couple of hours and isn’t going below 24 (it’s 38 outside). They are also very noisy! That being said I wouldn’t be without mine, but just so you know what to expect!

We got this last week too; it’s great! We bought a longer tube thingy from Tool Station as well though. Quite loud mind you, but better than being too hot.

I have this one and it is icy cold and currently cooling the whole upstairs of our 3 bed house.
