How are the motorways in the SE/SW today?

Has anyone been out on the roads today?

Due to be travelling M25/M4/M5 early evening and I’d love some reassurance that the roads are ok.

The traffic appears to be moving freely on the National highways map but is that because only a fool would drive today!?

Just spoke to a friend who did M4, M5 (London to Exeter) this morning - it was flowing freely with light traffic, apparently.

M4 to M25 (clockwise) was quieter than usual this morning and the same yesterday morning/evening. Saw quite a few cars on the hard shoulder with bonnets open though (over heated I guess)

Thanks both. That's useful info, especially about overheating! I'll make sure I take it easy to try and prevent that.
