Hello

Friend has provided her child's car seat as I'm collecting after school.
It's the sort that clips into the bars on your rear seats, I've attached it fine as the instructions are sewn on, but the instructions don't show how to detach it after use!

How do I disconnect this car seat from my car!?

She's at work at the general hospital, I don't really want to pester her with my ineptitude...

You press the red button on the arms that are attached to the seat.

Press the red buttons. Mine has a bit of a knack to it though so don't worry if it doesn't release easily! I kind of have to jiggle mine about a bit and then the buttons suddenly push in.

Oh dear thanks but I've had a good look for any red buttons and there don't seem to be any

On the first photo you posted, there is a red bit on the arm that connects to the iso fix point. Then there is a green bit showing it is connected properly. That red bit should pull back releasing the catch attaching it to the car.

The red buttons are on the bars that attach into the seat i think

No worries. Car seats now need a degree in engineering 🤣
