Threadworms and newborn

My DD(4) has just bought home threadworms. We are treating the family and washing everything. I'm really worried about my 6 week baby catching it - we're following all the hygiene guidance but I do wonder if anyone had a young baby (less than six months old) who caught the worms and how that was dealt with? Fingers crossed we don't have to cross that bridge but I am concerned.

I didn’t have a newborn but ds was still in nappies the first time dd got threadworms. He didn’t get them and they had been sharing a bath when Dd first announced that she had a “tickly bottom”. I assume because he couldn’t scratch as his bum was covered in a nappy.

There's no recommended treatment under 6 months, so well worth being ultra careful with hygiene.
