Severe sick bug in a heatwave

Woke up at 4am vomiting, progressed to both D and V as the day went on. Can’t keep anything down other than sips of water and ice lollies (which I remembered helped with morning sickness)

My entire body aches, especially my legs and back - almost like contractions! I’ve never experienced this before. I’m very dizzy and generally exhausted.

Any tips to get through the duration of this in a bloody heatwave?!

You poor thing. Horrible anytime, but doubly so in this heat.

Expect you're feeling too weak to do so yourself, but if anyone else can chill some pillow cases and a sheet in your freezer for you, they'll help.

Hope you soon feel better x

Oh, just realised you posted this yesterday. How are you feeling this evening?

Thanks for replying! No more vomiting just feeling very sick and weak with no appetite. Pillow case in the freezer is a fab idea - thank you again!

Glad improvement, hope it's continued.

I've noticed friend's who have lived in or have heritage from hot countries are super hot around food hygiene in heat!

It might be Covid.

Some people just get d&v.

Hope you feel better soon. x
